Sunnybrook wasn’t built to compete with legacy TMS systems. It was built because they weren’t good enough.
When founder John Kuhlmann set out to scale his brokerage, he ran into the same wall every modern brokerage hits: clunky integrations, limited support for specialized equipment types, and fragile accounting syncs that can't keep up. Existing platforms were never designed for the real complexity of today's freight.
With a large share of dry and liquid bulk freight, the need for customizable workflows, two-way QuickBooks sync, and seamless API connectivity was essential. After demoing more than 30 platforms, it became obvious that no off-the-shelf system could handle the job.
So we built one that could.
And we built it with people who know the industry inside and out. Sunnybrook is the TMS built by brokers, for brokers. Our team has walked the same floors, booked the same loads, and battled the same inefficiencies that slow brokerages down.
